FUND E-Z maintains a reseller program for competent independent accountants and nonprofit consultants nationwide.  Clients can choose to purchase FUND E-Z directly from us or from a value-added reseller.

How do I qualify to become a FUND E-Z dealer?

 

You must first make two FUND E-Z sales under our referral program.  You will earn a 10% referral fee for your first two sales.  Once you've made your first two sales, you can fill out our dealer application form and fax it in for dealer status.

How does the referral program work?

 

Non-dealers who refer customers to FUND E-Z are eligible to receive a 10% referral fee.  The customer must clearly indicate the non-dealer's company name as the "referred by" entity on the original purchase paperwork submitted to FUND E-Z, after which the non-dealer can bill FUND E-Z for the referral fee.  Once payment has been received from the customer, FUND E-Z will process the referral fee payment.

Is there a deadline on my dealer agreement?

 

No, the dealer agreement has a start date and no termination date. Periodically, we may revise the agreement with amendments for any necessary changes.  The dealer agreement is cancelable in writing by either party with 30 days notice.

Do dealers have an assigned territory?

 

No, we reserve the right to sign multiple dealers in the same city, especially big cities.  However, we do try our best to segment the market geographically and limit competition.

Do you have a dealer in my area?

What percentage discount do dealers get on the software sale?

 

The discount percentage is substantial, but we don't want to disclose it on-line. Please contact us for this information.

Can I offer my dealer discount to my client as a price reduction?

 

Yes, although we prefer that dealers sell at our retail prices, some dealers who want to maintain independence and not profit from the sale can pass their discount on to their clients.

Is there a quota that I need to sell as a FUND E-Z dealer?

 

No.

How many systems can I expect to sell as a FUND E-Z dealer?

 

It depends on how well you learn to sell the product, your knowledge of the benefits of FUND E-Z to the client and the number of leads you can service.  If you develop your FUND E-Z skills you can achieve a very high demo to close ratio.

Is there a fee to become a dealer?

 

No.

Do I need to buy a copy of FUND E-Z to be a dealer?

 

No, you can keep an evaluation copy of FUND E-Z on your computer which will serve as a full working version.  After 30 logins you can reinstall it for another 30. Dealers that are also users of FUND E-Z are required to purchase the product.

What type of support materials do you send out to dealers to help them make sales?

 

New dealers are shipped 15 copies of the sales information package that normally ships with a demo.  We encourage dealers to steer clients towards our web page at www.fundez.com.

13.

What type of end user support is available to dealers?

 

None, dealers who are working with clients and call for support on their behalf are required to make sure their client has a support contract with FUND E-Z.

How many dealers do you have now?

 

That number is constantly increasing, but our goal is to have several well established dealers in every major metropolitan area in the United States.

What percentage of FUND E-Z sales are made by dealers and what percentage are sold direct?

 

20%-30% of FUND E-Z sales are made by dealers.

How do I order demos for my prospective clients?

 

The best way is to have the client download a demo from www.fundez.com.  You can also call our office and order the demo mailed directly to you or to the client.

How do I place an order for FUND E-Z as a dealer?

 

Fax in a dealer sales order form.

18.

Do dealers participate in upgrade revenue?

 

No, upgrades are purchased directly by the end user from FUND E-Z Development Corporation.

19.

How often does FUND E-Z upgrade its product line?

 

On the average, upgrades are released every one to two years.

20.

Do dealers participate in support renewal revenue?

 

No, dealers must contract separately with the client if they want to offer any supplemental support services beyond the clients' on-going support contract with FUND E-Z.

21.

What happens if another dealer sells a lead I have been working on?

 

In a case like this we rely on the client to tell us which dealer performed the sales services, and then resolve the matter fairly.

If a prospective client I have been working with buys direct from FUND E-Z, do I get credit for the sale?

 

We will credit the dealer with the sale if the client conveys to us that they were sold by the dealer and not the FUND E-Z sales department.

Do you have users group conferences that I can attend?

 

Currently, we have regular users group meetings in New York City and in upstate New York near Rochester.  Dealers can arrange users group meetings in their area if there are enough users willing to participate.
